Ricky Longmuir
General Manager

Ricky is responsible for leading engineering operations, safety, technical design, and sales support.

As commercial leader, his priority is to achieve the best result, on time and budget.

With over fifteen years’ experience working with industrial hydraulics, system logic and steel fabrication, as a time served qualified engineer he has a detailed understanding of the waste and resource management industry.

As an expert in all aspects of our engineering processes, and a background in CAD Design, he has the vision and ingenuity to create bespoke solutions that solve customers’ waste problems.

Lyndon Ward
Chief Executive

Lyndon is Chief Executive of Forward Waste, including Enviroquip, its specialist equipment and engineering division.

As founder he has built the business over 25 years to become a leading specialist, and trusted total waste management partner to business across the UK.

He leads on business strategy, customer experience and innovation and is passionate about delivering value to customers whilst reducing environmental impact.

He is a Chartered Waste Manager and trustee of the CIWM.

Brett James
SHEQ Manager

Brett manages Safety, Health, Environment and Quality compliance across the Group to ensure in the effective application of our existing ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations, as well as CHAS, Safe Contractor and CHEM standards.


He is NEBOSH qualified in Health & Safety and Environmental Management, a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and holds the Associate Member accreditation of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

He has 30 years’ experience across automotive manufacturing and waste management sectors. His SHEQ mantra is “everyone is responsible for the health & safety of themselves and others.

Steve Marshall
Workshop Manager

Steve brings our design team’s ideas to life. He leads a team of experienced engineers and fabricators.

Managing the Engineering Workshop, he ensures that Enviroquip’s bespoke designed waste handling equipment is built to the highest quality standards, on time and budget.

He has over 25 years’ experience in bespoke fabrication, with over 10 years in the waste industry.

Amanda Davies
Engineering Administrator

Amanda is the hub for customer sales and service enquiries and supports customers throughout equipment build, co-ordinating delivery, installation and staff training.

She also co-ordinates planned maintenance and reactive repairs.

With over twenty years’ experience in customer service, Amanda helps ensure we deliver a great customer experience every time.

Justin Mayne
Service Engineer

Justin leads a team of experienced, qualified, mobile Service Engineers who deliver both planned and reactive maintenance at customer sites across the UK. He ensures our teams respond within 24 hours to minimise operational disruption for customers.

Following 20 years’ service as an Engineer in the Armed Forces, Justin’s experience extends across mechanical and hydraulic machinery, automotive and aerospace

Liz Coggins
Finance Director

Liz is the Executive Director responsible for finance, technology, and management information across the Group.

She is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 20 years’ post qualification experience gained at Deloitte, a leading independent practice in South Wales, and in both manufacturing and the power industry.

She is passionate about business improvement and people development.

Steve Tipples
Operations Director

Steve is the Executive Director responsible for Enviroquip, and responsible for Operations across the Group.

As a qualified Engineer, he has a background in both engineering and operational leadership for international companies in both plastics manufacturing and metal fabrication. Steve has a track record of successfully building teams that deliver technical excellence, quality, and great customer service.

He is passionate about developing our people to deliver the very best for customers.
